- Contact Information: Email address, phone number, city, state/province, country.
- Application Data: Responses to application questions including background, education, profession, family details, religious practice, values, preferences, and written statements.
- Communication Records: Notes from facilitated calls, interest confirmations, and correspondence with our team.
- Payment Information: Transaction records processed through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store credit card numbers directly.
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage analytics collected via cookies and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Evaluate your application and determine eligibility for the network.
- Identify and facilitate compatible matches.
- Coordinate and facilitate phone and video introductions.
- Process payments for introduction fees.
- Communicate with you about your membership, matches, and the Service.
- Improve the Service and develop new features.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Information Sharing
We share your information only as follows:
- With Your Match: Limited profile information (first name and general background) may be shared with a matched member during the facilitated introduction process. Full contact information is shared only after both parties have confirmed mutual interest and completed payment, as described in our Terms of Service.
- Service Providers: We use third-party services (Supabase for data storage, Stripe for payment processing, Resend for email delivery, Vercel for hosting, PostHog for analytics) that may process your data on our behalf. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure database storage with row-level security policies, and restricted access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your membership is active or as needed to provide the Service. If your application is declined or your membership is terminated, we may retain certain information for up to three (3) years for legal compliance, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us, subject to our legal retention obligations.
