Terms of Service & Membership Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an application to Anand Union (“the Service,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you (“Member,” “you,” “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and Membership Agreement (“Agreement”) in their entirety. If you do not agree, do not submit an application or use the Service.

2. Nature of Service

Anand Union is a private, curated matchmaking network. We are not a dating app, social media platform, or guaranteed outcome provider. We facilitate introductions between vetted individuals based on compatibility assessments conducted at our sole discretion. Membership does not guarantee any specific number of introductions, matches, or outcomes.

3. Eligibility

You represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
• All information provided in your application is truthful, accurate, and complete.
• You are genuinely seeking marriage, not casual dating or other relationships.
• If applying on behalf of another individual (e.g., a parent applying for their child), you have that individual’s express consent, and that individual agrees to be bound by these Terms.

4. Application & Acceptance

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance into the network. We reserve the right to accept, waitlist, or decline any application at our sole discretion, without obligation to provide reasons. We may request additional information, interviews, or verification at any time.

5. The Matching Process

Our matching process follows a structured, privacy-first protocol:

1. Matching: Accepted members may receive up to two (2) curated match introductions. The number of matches is at our discretion and is not guaranteed.
2. Phone Introduction: Matched members participate in a facilitated phone call. No personal contact information (phone number, email, social media, address, or any identifying information) is shared at this stage.
3. Interest Confirmation: After the phone call, both members independently indicate whether they wish to proceed. Both must express interest to advance.
4. Video Introduction: If mutual interest exists, a video call is facilitated. No personal contact information is shared at this stage.
5. Payment & Contact Exchange: If both members confirm interest after the video call, each member must complete the applicable introduction fee payment before any personal contact information is exchanged.

6. Strict Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure

THIS IS A MATERIAL TERM OF THIS AGREEMENT. VIOLATION MAY RESULT IN IMMEDIATE TERMINATION AND LEGAL ACTION.

You agree that:

• You will NOT share, disclose, distribute, or transmit any personal contact information of your match (including but not limited to phone number, email address, home address, workplace address, social media handles, or any other identifying information) to any third party, at any time, for any reason, without the express written consent of both the match and Anand Union.
• You will NOT share contact information with your match through any channel outside of the official Anand Union process, including but not limited to during phone calls, video calls, or any communication facilitated by us, until payment has been completed and contact details have been officially released by Anand Union.
• You will NOT attempt to independently identify, locate, or contact your match through social media, mutual connections, public records, online searches, or any other means outside the Anand Union process.
• All information about other members, including their existence in the network, their application details, and any information shared during calls, is strictly confidential.
• Breach of this confidentiality provision entitles Anand Union to immediately terminate your membership, withhold any contact information, forfeit any fees paid, and pursue all available legal remedies including injunctive relief and damages.

7. Fees, Payment & No-Refund Policy

ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS.

• The introduction fee is charged to each member individually upon mutual interest confirmation and prior to the exchange of personal contact information.
• All payments are final and non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the introduction, whether or not the members pursue a relationship, whether or not the relationship results in marriage, or for any other reason whatsoever.
• You acknowledge that the fee is for the introduction service itself — the vetting, matching, facilitation of calls, and release of contact information — and not for any guaranteed outcome, relationship, or marriage.
• Chargebacks, payment disputes, or reversed transactions constitute a material breach of this Agreement. You agree to pay all costs, fees, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) incurred by Anand Union in connection with any chargeback or disputed payment.
• If a payment is reversed or charged back, Anand Union reserves the right to immediately revoke access to all contact information shared, terminate your membership, and pursue collection of the owed amount plus associated costs.

8. Member Conduct

You agree to:

• Conduct yourself with respect, honesty, and integrity throughout the entire process.
• Not misrepresent yourself, your intentions, your background, or any material information.
• Not harass, threaten, stalk, or engage in any inappropriate behavior toward any member, match, or Anand Union staff.
• Not use the Service for any commercial, promotional, or non-matchmaking purpose.
• Promptly respond to communications from Anand Union regarding scheduling, interest confirmations, and process steps.
• Not attempt to circumvent any part of the matching process, including the payment requirement.

9. Termination

Anand Union reserves the right to terminate or suspend your membership at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to: breach of these Terms, misrepresentation, inappropriate conduct, failure to pay fees, or any behavior we deem inconsistent with the values and standards of the network. Termination does not entitle you to any refund of fees paid.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Anand Union provides introductions only. We make no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding any member, match, or the outcome of any introduction.
• We do not conduct criminal background checks, financial verifications, or independent verification of all claims made in applications. While we vet applications carefully, you are solely responsible for conducting your own due diligence on any individual you are introduced to.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anand Union, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, any introduction made, any interaction with a match, or any decision you make based on the Service.
• In no event shall Anand Union’s total liability exceed the amount of fees you have paid to Anand Union in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Anand Union, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your breach of this Agreement; (c) your violation of any law or regulation; (d) your interactions with any match or member; or (e) any dispute between you and any match or member.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

13. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted in the state and county of Anand Union’s principal place of business. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action. Each party shall bear its own costs and fees associated with the arbitration, except as otherwise provided in this Agreement.

14. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, text, graphics, logos, and other materials on the Anand Union website and platform are the exclusive property of Anand Union and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

16. Data Use & Privacy

Your personal information is collected, stored, and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein. You acknowledge that certain information may be shared with your match as part of the facilitated introduction process, but only after the appropriate stage of the process has been reached.

17. Communications

By submitting an application, you consent to receive communications from Anand Union via email, phone, or text message related to your membership, matches, and the Service. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time, but you may not opt out of transactional communications related to active matches or your account.

18. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

19. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Anand Union regarding the Service and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, representations, and warranties, both written and oral.

20. Modifications

Anand Union reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
